10:45am: Author Talk – We Invited Adele Parks in! In her first ever Irish Appearance, international bestseller Adele Parks, discusses her writing life and shares her journey to being published in 26 countries.
12:00pm: New voices – Derek Flynn will read from his debut novel, Broken Falls
12:05 pm: Panel Discussion – Cracking Crime with Paul Williams, Jane Casey and Shane Dunphy. Learn everything you need to know about the art of writing crime from our panel of Ireland’s leading experts. From creating memorable characters to pace, plot and keeping the reader wanting more, our panel has this covered.
1:15pm: Lunch. Have lunch with your favourite author! Details of how to book a seat at our special author launch will be announced shortly.
2:30pm: New voices – Mary Cotter will read from her collection of short stories
2:35pm: Panel Discussion – Let your imagination fly with Andrew Cartmel, Dr. Sarah Cleary and Caroline Busher. Receive a masterclass in horror and Science Fiction from the script editor of Dr. Who, an expert with a PHD in horror and an Irish Times Best Selling author of gothic fiction. Not for the fainthearted!

3:55pm: Panel Discussion – How to write a bestselling novel. Join international bestsellers and co-founders of the Inspiration Project Carmel Harrington, Catherine Ryan Howard and Hazel Gaynor, as they talk you though their writing processes from beginning, middle to end . They will share their top tips on not just how to start your novel, but also on how to ensure you keep the momentum going and reach ‘The End.’
